Pies I checked in at the post office today, they said they can exchange as little as $1 dollars worth, so it's no problem getting them exchanged if we need to. Unfortunately, they only had $5s in stock at the time (it's only a small local post office). I didn't check about Canadian ones. He didn't know about IRCs, said they didn't exist anymore cause a few years ago he had to return all his stock. Pretty sure that was when the design change happened and the old ones were unusable and went out of date. He must not have been sent any replacements and so thought they weren't able to buy anymore. I'll check with the big post office in town as we still need to sort Canadian ones. Not sure if they'll have Canadian dollars in stock see, but someone on PCG may yet offer to send us Canadian stamps :)

Oh, right thanks for that. :D I didn't know. A couple of people I hope to receive a reply from support UNICEF so I think I'd still send $5 to them, but if I can get $1 bills then $3 should hopefully do the trick.

I'm just going to add $5 which I hope will cover the cost of the postage, as I've explained in my letters that I have simply got no help from the Post Office which is why I send cash.
An airmail letter is apparently $0.94 or something, so $5 might be a little overkill :) Maybe $3 if you want to make sure?

I've only ever written to British people as well but now I'm reaching out to the US and Australia.

There's this as well --> http://www.celebritymerch.com/ which (I think) is free, but I'm not too sure about how authentic it is.

Oi you shush! I spent a nice evening going through those emails and have sent emails out to quite a few! I think about 49! Eek! I know they're prepenned and such but i see no reason i can't write to them again when i'm more savvy with posty ones for dedications! :D I'd still be pleased to get them!

I'm wondering if there are any other email address lists?

I think Osiris and I are working on tracking down dollars.

Ask for it in $1 notes, because if you change up £20 you might get it in $10 notes, and then you'd be spending a bit too much postage back ;-)
M&S will charge for the exchange as well if they charge for the plastic bags...
