I'm not sure if it will increase your chances or not, but if there is a specific picture that you'd like signed, then by all means send that one!

I don't think it really makes a difference, but I personally almost always send my own photo to be signed :)

It's always best to send a photo as some celebrities don't provide their own. It's not necessary in all cases though, some celebrities will only sign their own photo and send yours back unsigned.
