Hi {up}

Just to let you know that Lauren Bacall DOES personalise :lol: - check out this thread: http://www.fanmail.biz/mboard/viewtopic.php?t=7660

Also I agree with the posts above. You just need to ask for a personalised autograph in your letter. I would ask towards the end of the letter rather than at the beginning (although this is a personal preference).

I would say something like: "I don't want to be a problem to you, but if you have the time I would really appreciate a dedicated autograph from you." Or something along those lines . . . . .!

I understand the reasons made for asking at the beninning, but it just seems a bit presumptuous! Most celebs will skip automatically to the bottom of the letter to see what the writer REALLY WANTS!!!!

Thats just my humble opinion.

I have no experience at all but from what I've read and looked at, not all celebrities will personalize, but I believe Kate Bosworth and Maria Sharapova do.

The autograph is the main part, not "Hi Linda" or "Thank you James". But personalized would be great but a lot to hope for. Just getting an autograph especially from a huge celebrity is huge. If you want a personalized autograph I think you would have to say it in the beginning since actors/actresses don't necessarily read all of your letter.

I usually just ask for an autograph politely, but you could also say something like this:

"If you are not too busy at the moment, could you please send me a personalized autographed photo?"

Obviously I am not too good at this :oops: I like writing the body of the letter more than the autograph asking part.

Thanks for the help but there are any tips how to ask? I mean I don't wanna to be rude I can't just say for ex: "and please if you can personalized my photo, thank you very much"

Hey!

if you want to get a inscribed photo from a celebrity ask nicely at the end when you request an autograph. Good Luck!
