It costs 2€ to send a4 sized envelope from Germany to England and one IRC is worth 2€ here in Germany. So normally one IRC should be fine but I would include 2 IRCs, like [i]ROB123[/i] already said, to play safe {thumb2} (But 2 IRCs should be definitely enough :lol:)

To send a a4 sized envelope, weighing no more than 100 grams to germany cost's £1.36
