As for sending a picture - I usually do, but that's because it's my preference especially if I have a favorite movie or picture I saw online.

1. He sends out his own photos when you don't include a picture, but you can send a picture if you want
2. Yes, its a good idea to include an Self Addressed Stamped Envelope (SASE) because it will give a better chance of getting a reply
3. It depends. I wrote Robert at the U.K. address, and it took about a month. When I wrote him at his U.S. address, it took about 3 months.
4. I usually get them at the grocery store, or office supplies store. I think they cost about $2.00 for a pack of 3 or more. I'm not sure.
