Yes and No. My first couple of tries no because I didn't send an SASE.
If I do, USUALLY. Sometimes I request one for my friend and they throw in one for me too.

The only way that I would ask for 2 was if I sent 2 of my own pictures, otherwise just 1

Yes I would personally never request more than one. Especially if they're both for yourself. It's sometimes a nice idea if one if a present for someone else, but you can't always expect the celebrity to send you more than one, they may even think it's rude themselves.
I usually say something like: Would it be possible, if you have the time, for you to sign the picture I have enclosed/send me a signed picture of yourself, please? It would mean a lot to me.
Anything along those lines is good

I think it's pretty rude to request more than one autograph, and it also hogs other fan's opportunities, but that's just my opinion. Some people have no problem with making a request like that, so if you feel comfortable with doing it go ahead.

How do you request autograph in the letter? Can I request 2 autographs at a time(not insert photos into envelope of mine)? I want to get more if the he/she will. How do I request in my letter? I think "Could you give me some autographs" is not good.
