Stamps would probably be cheaper.

For a large envelope you would need more than $1.20 in stamps. A smaller envelope would need $0.94

Feel free to pm me if you need more help with US prices. {up}

Hi Sam! ;-)

Firstly, please try to post in the correct forum ("Collecting Help"). {up}

Secondly, there's many topics about this in the "Collecting Help" forum, this one on the first page which perfectly answers your question. {thumb2} In short, stamps from the country you're sending to is usually the cheaper option. If your SAE is bigger than 8x6", I recommend sending 2-3 IRC's. Anything smaller, and 1 IRC would do.

Good luck,
zanne

The royal mail website says it costs 60p for an IRC, and people suggest to send two, which makes it £1.20 for the IRC option.
I don't know about the price of US stamps though, with my music autographs, I use the option to send whilst the bands on tour :mrgreen:
