I received my Placido Domingo autograph after 4 years. I'm still waiting on my Ringo Starr, I mailed that a year ago in March (long before he stopped signing TTM).

I wouldn't give up hope just yet!

Also, sometimes your letter may have just gotten put at the bottom of a pile of letters. I'm sure he'll get to it soon.

If you don't receive something in another few months, then I'd re-write to him.

You know, people on forum usually get a reply from Steve Carell after a month, that's why I'm worrying.
Okay, I won't panic then and I will patiently wait for his autograph.

But like Selise, wait a while. I had a request out to a certain person and while everyone else on the forum got replies fast, it was almost a year to the day for me to get mine back.

No - I believe there are people from other countries that have received responses from him. I do know that it can take a long time for some celebs to respond, so maybe that's what's happening with your request(s). I'd give your August request a bit more time before you start to panic. I've received successes after 4 years, so never give up hope.

I'm form Poland and I sent 2 letters to him. First one in April. (just a letter).The second one in August (SAE and IRC). I used address from fanmail database. And still I have no response.
Is it possible that Steve Carell sends his autographs only to U.S. citizens?
