From the 40's to the 70's (and maybe even later) signed government postcards were a popular thing to get signed. You don't need a "SASE" because your address will already be on the postcard. I have many older baseball players on these in my collection. The best part about these cards is that the date is postmarked on them. You have proof of when it was signed.
