I sent to Hilary Duff and she rarely does mail and I sent three CD booklets- i will most likely never see those- she probably doesnt care about her fans !
Jk But there is always hope!

But a year- why is that so long? Many People take clsoe to a year- they just get a lot of mail AND they shoot movies and stuff too!

1. If your looking for numbers, I would say the chances of recieving an SAE back is 55/45.

2. Then again, if you send an SASE, the chances are something like 80/20.

3. I would recommend seeing who else got a SAE success, then try that address if you are a fan.

You should always send a SASE if you want a response. The stars are nice enough to sign for us. They shouldn't have to pay our postage too.

It honestly depends on the person your sending too. Some people are good about their mail and are kind enough to send things back without an SASE (ex. Meg Cabot, Brad Bird, ect.). But on the other hand some won't send anything back unless it's an SASE. If the last success got there's back with just a letter than there is a good chance that the same will hapen to you. In the future I strongly suggest sending SASEs. They will increase your chances of recieving something back.

I have recently sent off a letter to a celeb but I did not include a SASE. How high do you think my chances of getting a reply are? I obtained the address from this site and 1 other person got a success from him, without an SASE I believe, but it took a year for their autograph to come through.
