I do this thing where you write a name in the spaces in graph paper and they usualy turn out pretty cool. Do you think it would be a good idea to include one of them?

I'm scaning in one I made to wrap a smal gift for my friend, Woody, as an example. This one is pretty simple, just one color and it took me about 3-5 min. to do.

Not my greatest handwritting, but it's readable. Also the edges are all tattery, and I fix that before using it too.

Another question about those, I sent one to Sir George Martin yesterday, his birthday is on January 3rd. Do you think he'll like it? I mean it's nothing great, but I think he'll at least see it....

agree?
Hi the music lives {up}

I think you might be onto something there! Celebrities do get loads of mail, and it is nice for them to open a letter and find that somebody is giving them something up front, rather than immediately being expected to provide something

After all, celebrities are people like the rest of us and it is nice to get something. In my opinion it could really help your collecting :P

I tend to agree - writing 'Please reply' should not make your chances any higher, it could in fact work against you... The main thing is that you are patient and let the celeb reply in their own time, most of them lead busy lives and we must appreciate this.

Hope you succeed with your reply and that you post any of your successes on the forum.

I do not think it will help.

wrote like on the cover of the envelope " Please Reply" . and I wrote to the same address 2. Do think this will increase my chances of getting a reply?

also try to avoid sending mail at certain times of the year. Like around christmas time. People are sending gifts, cards, just basically as lot of mail. so the likely hood of it getting lost is greater. and plus they maynot get it as fast

A tip from another post I was reading! Include your e-mail address/mobile or cell number, and you may have a celebrity contact you!

Hope This Helps,

Always say what you have liked from there work.

Tell them how much it would mean to you if you had their autograph.

Always include an SASE.

Hope this helps everyone,

here are some more tips:

1. Your chances are increased by sending atleast a SAE!!

2. make your compliments most of the letter!!
