Airmail stickers can be obtained at any post office... they are generally blue... they dont cost anything! I suggest you also write "AIR MAIL" on the SSAE so that they know to stick one on at their end (unless of course your sending the letter within your country).. and if they dont it will at least have "Air Mail" written on it. Airmail stickers vary in design from country to country, it may do no harm in putting the AirMail sticker on the return SSAE, the choice is yours.

Hope this helps,

Hi owen123,

You need to put the celebrity's name on the envelope above the address. It's ok if you don't add a "Miss" in front of "Lucy Liu," but obviously you need to at least write the celebrity's name with the address, as you do when writing to any agency so they know who the letter is to.

Hope this helped :D

Also to anyone: Where can Airmail stickers be obtained? Do they cost anything?

Thanks!

Hi owen123p,

The Envelope needs to be set out as follows with your "AIRMAIL" sticker somewhere on the envelope:

Miss Lucy Liu,
c/o William Morris Agency
One William Morris Place
Beverly Hills
CA 90212
USA

Also have you included IRC's and an SASE? This will help Lucy to reply back to you!

Lastly, remember to include a return address on the envelope (normally on the back) so if it is an RTS, they will send your letter back to you!

If you have done all this, you letter is ready to send

Good Luck with writing, and remember to leave feedback in the forum!

Hope This Helps,
AutographAddict :P

Sounds fine. If the post office said 94p was enough (I am guessing they weighed it for you?)

To give you a better idea, the following list shows costs from the UK to Europe and the USA:

USA
68p 20g
1.05 40g
1.42 60g
1.79 80g
2.16 100g

Europe
42p 20g
60p 40g
78p 60g
96p 80g
1.14 100g

Cheers
Ian

Hi owen123p {up}

You need to add "USA" under the address as the country.

Also, remember to add an AIRMAIL sticker to the envelope (otherwise it might go surface mail, which takes 6 weeks+ to the USA).

Also get your package weighed to ensure you pay enough postage. As a rough guide, for an A4 envelope, a 1-page letter and an A4 reply envelope the cost of postage should be about £1.05.

Hope this helps!
