I remember reading someone say about this before, they said that their letter had been opened (I'm guessing by the postal service) and because their address was inside it got returned to them. I don't know if this happens everytime though, because if it did then I would have had a few of those by now. When I first started collecting I never put my address on the envelope, and I know for definite I sent to the wrong address twice (it was to the Lost cast address when they changed sets a few years back), so I'm sure if the postal service opened your mail then I would have got those 2 back. So yes it probably will just get thrown away, so it's always best to put your address on the envelope because at least you get your letter and pictures back so you can try again, and you're not still left hoping you'll hear back
