Well, I just put an extra 42cent stamp on both of the SASEs, because that's all I have, so I think I'm covered. Haha. ;-)

Thank you everyone!

Yes, they will accept the 42 cent stamps, as long as the total amount is 44 cents or more. Certainly two 42 cent stamps will be fine if it is easier, but you can buy 2 cent stamps to make up the difference.

I think I always buy forever stamps except the first time I didn't, but normally I just go with forever because they are good for a while and they just raise with the stamp prices.

I don't know I think they should still accept the 42 as long as you put the extra stamp on it to make up for the extra amount of postage, but I'm not positive.

Stamp price rise question?

In May, I heard stamps will rise to 44cents in the USA. On my SASE (if these people take a long time, which I guess they will) could I put an extra 42cent stamp on the SASE, so when they rise it'll cover the new price. Could I? Or would they not accept 42cent anymore, even though I made up for the new price. Please let me know. Thank you!
