It doesn't matter what type of stamps you use, you just have to make sure the stamps you use covers the 0.94 required for a 1 ounce letter from the US to the UK.

Regular first class stamps are worth 0.42 so to cover the 0.94 needed you need three. Or Two stamps and a .10 stamp.

You would need $0.94 worth of postage. So, three .42 stamps. I buy .17 stamps, instead of using another normal stamp.

Ok, well to send a regular envelope (1 ounce or less) does it take 2, 3, or more regular (42 cent) stamps? I need to mail some requests to people in The UK [uk] from America [us]
