Welcome to fanmail.biz {thumb2}

You need to buy IRC's (Iternational Reply Coupons)
Include a SAE (Self Addressed Envelope) with you IRC's.
Then take the whole letter (LOR, SAE, IRC & picture) to the Post Ofice so they can weigh it and give you the exact ammount of stamps.

Good Luck :D

Hiya xplaygirlx,

As has been said by other members, it's best to have your envelope addressed tp the celebrity weighed at your post office, and you will need to buy IRC's to cover return postage back to you. Remember to ask for International Reply Coupons, and be prepared to search around a bit for them as not all branches of post office will sell them, generally only the larger ones! You should need around 2-3 to cover it safely. It's usually advisable to include an SAE (self addressed envelope) with your IRC's too, so that the celebrity can just exchange the IRC for stamps and put them on your SAE and return it straight back to you!

Good luck!

Sometimes member's sell US stamps. This might be easier for you. I believe including an SASE (Self-addressed stamped envelope) has a higher success rate than requests with IRC's. The response time might be even faster too! Check out the forum to look for US stamps: http://www.fanmail.biz/mboard/viewforum.php?f=127 {thumb2}

Hello :)

When I send to the USA (or anywhere else outside of the UK) I just take my request to my local post office for them to weigh for me. That way you will pay the exact amount of postage and not risk putting too little on {up}

Remember, you still need to include return postage, so if you are not able to get hold of the countries stamps that you are sending to, then you can buy IRC's (International Reply Coupons) from your post office and enclose a few of those with your request.

If you have any further questions feel free to ask. Best of luck {thumb2}

you have to buy IRCS's. (International Reply Coupons) these are used to buy stamps in america to send your photos back.

you can get them at your post office. they are about £1.10 each. i usually put 2 in each envelope i send to the USA to make sure, but one should be okay.
