Yes just the normal index cards you buy from a supermarket or stationary shop. A lot of people do send index cards. It is so much cheaper than sending pictures, and if you like the look of autographs on them then that's perfect. You can also use a smaller SASE to save you on postage {up}
I know there are some celebrities who refuse to sign index cards though.
For me personally, I used to send an index card when I first started collecting, but I would always ask in my letter if the celebrity could please send me a signed picture, but I had enclosed an index card just in case. I always received back a signed picture and never my index card, I used to just include one to be on the safe side. So you could always do what I did, unless you do actually like the look of signed index cards like some people. But now I just send my own photo's for them to sign unless I know they send out one that I would like {up}

Like Ryan. I have been sending plain 3x5 cards for the past 14yrs. I recently have been creating custom 3x5 cards and have had some great successes...

Here is a link to another thread where I posted some of my signed cards..

You can buy them from many stationary stores. You can always send one along with your letter incase the celebrity has run out of photos to sign back to their fans. If you send a photo aswell they can sign both. Plus if you present them, they look really nice i think {thumb2}

That's the ones! In the UK, we have ASDA (Which is owned by Wal*Mart) and we have the same things - The ones without the lines are best. Also, you can probably get them in stationary stores.

Good luck - James :D

Yes I just buy plain index cards from Wal-mart and customize them to look extra cool. Examples can be seen on my website:

I use just the plain index cards, recently I started writing in Sharpie the actor's name and then having on the bottom, the character's name and tv show/movie that I've loved them in. But yep I use the plain blank index cards instead of the lined ones.

Yes, plain old index cards. The blank ones without the lines look better, but its your choice what you use. Remember, some celebrites choose not to sign index cards for various reasons. Good luck with your requests! {thumb2}
