Okay I just asked yesterday at the post office and basically..
Forever stamps will always be worth what postage currently is.
So, if you bought a forever stamp for 40 cents, now their worth 44.
But forever stamps are always worth what a regular stamp is worth at the time.
So, now if you buy them, yes they are 44 cents, just like the others. ;-)
Just double clarifying.
And I'm sure you'll get your replied back! {thumb2}
The celeb could cover postage.
The post office may just let it slide.
Or it's happened to me before they just put a sticker on the envelope saying that you owe. So I just take it up to the post office.
Whatever way it's handeled, I'm sure it will get to you! :D

The prices for a 9X12 from a US address to another US address now are:
One ounce: 0.88
Two ounces: 1.05
Three ounces: 1.22

1.00 covered two ounces before the postage change: I might add the extra .05 from now on, but don't worry about the SASEs you sent before now.

The forever stamps are worth the first class price forever: so if the postage price increases, the pice of forever stamps goes up too: BUT if you bought your forever stamps when they were .42, then you save the .02 instead of having to make up the postage.

Does that make since? I am typing this in a rush because I am supposed to be cleaning.

missmaexox wrote:Unfortunately, the price of Forever stamps went up 2 cents, too! So Forever stamps are now 42 cents.

Anyway, on any SASE the most that will happen is you will have to pay the 2 cents extra.

You will probably get it back anyway, though. Usually people just get it back with no problem!
