Yes,
Osiris is correct, 3 should be fine.

However, if you letter is heavier you will need more!

osiris is correct if you are sending a normal sized envelope. If it is larger you need more stamps.

I believe t's $0.98 for anything under 1oz, $1.82 for under 2oz. 3 Forever stamps ($1.32 as they're now $0.44 each) should cover it (I use 3 & recieved a photo & playbill back in mine, so if you're just sending a letter & photo it should be fine).
