In most cases they will be able to provide you with a photo, but I just wanted to mention that if you're sending VV - to always send something for them to sign.

In most VV cases (such as concert venues), celebrities will not have any photos/other items to send out so if you send something to sign the chances of receiving a reply possibly increase.

The majority of the time I will send the celebrity a picture to sign. The only exceptions are if I know the celebrity definitely sends their own picture and I like that picture more than any of the others I can find, or I am in a rush to get my request out so I don't have the time to print out a picture and let it dry so in this case I enclose an index card. I always prefer to send something for the celebrity to sign to be on the safe side {up}

Hello :)

Always remember to include a SASE (Self Addressed Stamped Envelope) or at least IRCs. Some celebrities receive hundreds requests per week and they can't pay for postage for everyone.

Jagoda :)

I only send photo's (8x10's) to get signed by non-athletic celebrities. Lately I have always included my own photo. For my sports collection, I rarely send photo's.

Hiya hmh,

Welcome to Fanmail!

When you send to a celebrity, you must include a letter of request (LOR) and self addressed stamped envelope (SASE), or if you are sending to someone in a different country, a self addressed envelope (SAE) and International Reply Coupons (IRCs), or an SAE with concealed money of the correct currency for the country you are sending to.

You can include photos or other items to be signed but like others have said, most will send their own.

Include a SASE (Self Addressed Stamped Envelope) a LOR (Letter Of Request) and you can include a picture of the celeb to sign if you want but you dont have to.

Hope this has helped {up}
