It really shouldn't be a problem. The worst that happens is it takes a bit longer to get there. :) I'm pretty sure that your letter will go by airmail though.

No, if it was being sent to the Us, I think they would know to fly it by air mail.
For example: I sent to Skandar Keynes in London, England, and the postoffice just sent by air mail. I recieved it back!
