It might be easier purchasing off each of these sites:

United States Postal Service (USPS) The Postal Store
http://shop.usps.com/webapp/wcs/stores/ ... ogId=10152

or,

Royal Mail (for UK postage)
http://www.royalmail.com/portal/rm/shop?catId=9300091

I personally buy my UK postage from Royal Mail. {thumb2}

This may be easier!

Good luck! {up}

IRC's or SASE are always better than sending money but if you really cant send an IRC or SASE you can send money. You should try to get it converted to there home currency ;-)

If you are having trouble finding IRC's you should look on the Autographs for sale / exchange fourm {up}

Good luck :D

As always, sending an SASE is preferable, with IRC being acceptable :) Failing that, cash can be sent however I would always get it converted into the home currency. Make it as easy as possible for the person to reply to you and it increased your chances of getting a reply :)

The only problem with sending UK currency is that we have no paper money smaller than £5, which is much more than needed for sending an overseas letter, so you would need to send 2-3 pound coins in your envelope, which is obviously tricky. With letters to the US you can send dollar bills so that's less of a problem.

Alternatively, you could visit the Sales section of the forum where members often swap stamps or you can buy some off them :)

Sending money for postage...

Hello! I live in Australia, and I was thinking of sending money as opposed to IRC or a sase when I send an letter. However, my question is, would an overseas celeb accept, say, five Australian dollars, or would it have to be us dollars, uk pound etc etc. Sorry if it seems like a very dumb question! :oops:
