Thanks!! That's basically what I had planned on doing, but it's always nice to have a second opinion.

I don't really mind if I don't get my photo back, but I'm really hoping I do get something back. It's a new TV show too, so I'm not sure if they have any promo photos that they would distribute just yet.

Thanks again :D

The only responses I have seen like that are when the cast has pre-signed a photo, so I wouldn't recommend sending your own but you never know. {thumb2}

But what I do is address it "To the Cast of____". I mention a favorite episode or two then address a sentence or more about each actor/role. That makes it just about a printed page. But yes, it would be long if I gushed over all the actors, so I save that for their individual fan mail. :D

Hope this helped. Good luck with your request. [ugotmail]

Question about writing to the cast of a TV show

by iheartpinguinos » Wed Jul 08, 2009 4:06 am

I wanted to write to the cast of a TV show, as a whole. I've seen past successes from shows like One Tree Hill and Criminal Minds where the cast actually sign a photo or script or something.

My question is, what should I write in the letter. I can't really address every cast member in the letter or it would be really long, so should I just say I'm excited to see the show and then just request that the cast autograph my photo?

Help, please :roll:

Thanks in advance for any advice.
