My post office said if it's a 10X13 envelope or smaller then it's fine to just mail it along, but if it's anything bigger or in a box then you need to fill out a customs form.

As long as you have the full address (incl. country of course) and the correct amount of stamps then you can drop it in the post box :) Best to write "Par avion / by airmail" on the top left too.

I would assume so. The postman will bring it to the local post office to have it processed and sent off!
