This might seem bad, but I always do a bit of research on the celebrities TTM habbits before I mail.

If the celebrity sends his or her own autographed picture, rarely do I include my own. If he/she sends PP's/AP's, I do not request at all. If he/she replies with no SASE necessary, I do not use one. If I can only find responses from a particular celeb where the celeb in questioned used the SASE, then I make sure to include one.

hey i put a 9by 12 yellow envlope all the time when i write to someone i think it makes it much eaiser for them to send u something and maybe even faster cause then they do not have to do all the work of writing your information down and then getting the stamps they put on here.

Always, ALWAYS send an SASE. I usually send a 10X13 sized envelope to the celeb with a 9X12 SASE inside. I've also sent out 6X9's before when I have sent smaller photos to be signed. It's pretty much up to you what size you want to send. In my experience, most celebs send back 8X10 sized photos.

Generally you do have to send SASE its polite to send it so they dont have to pay for postage & its much easier for them to pop the auto straight into the envelope.
I send a SASE for every request i send.
I use a C5 envelope but it all depends on the size of the photo your sending.[/b]

You should [b]ALWAYS[/b] include a SASE. It is true that there are a few celebs that will include their own if you do not send one, but it's always courteous to include one yourself.
As far as what kind of envelope to send, it's up to you. I usually include an 9x12 pull and seal. If you want the celeb to include their own photo, I would recommend sending at least an 8x10, as many stars send out this size of photo. However, if you check feedback from a person and they always include say a 4x6, you obviously could include a smaller SASE.
If you are including your own photo, just send a SASE that it fits in.
