That would be because the Channel Islands are not part of the UK :) Kind of like how Canada and Australia belong to The Crown, but arent part of the UK.

Hi, sorry if this is a stupid question but I really dont know.

I of course know that Northen Ireland is part of the UK, but do you need more stamps on your letter when sending to NI, as it is overseas?
