It might get there just fine but you are overpaying by about 0.30 !!! I have a pen pal there and have found it worth buying the 0.10 stamps so I can use 2 0.44 stamps and one 0.10 stamp on a small envelope/letter.

Alternatively use the calculator http://ircalc.usps.gov/

I'd estimate it'll be about 2oz so $2.08 (or if it's rigid it comes under "Package" not "Large" so $2.28). So 5 or 6 stamps.

That's roughly how much I was expecting for postage. I was guessing I would have to use about 7 stamps. Thanks for the website though! Will take a look {up}

No, not forever stamps - just regular stamps @ 44cents.

How many stamps from US to UK?

I'm going to be sending a few more fanmail letters to America. My first fanmail letter was sent just a month ago and I enclosed a few IRC's. I've not had a response yet, but I'm going to try sending a stamped addresses envelope this time.

I can't figure out how many stamps to put on my letters for coming back to me. My letter will be in an A4 envelope with just a couple of smallish photos inside, so very light!

Can anyone give me some advice please?

Thanks!
