As a last resort, you can always use the IRCs yourself - that is, exchange them for stamps at your post office. That way, at least you're getting something back.

actually I can't get IRC in my own country. I got them(6 IRCs) in special way. I bought them on the internet on the top of this year. So it seems impossible for me to exchange them for new ones. Maybe all I can do is that stop thinking about it and just send it out...

But I still worry if it will return in this year so that my IRCs still can work. The worst thing is that my IRCs cannot work anymore until 2010 and then HE will not able to reply me so I will get fuckin' nothing...

I understand your worry. I sent out some requests recently with IRC's that expire in December 2009 and I am just praying that the celebrities will get round to my requests soon. I wasn't aware that you could exchange them for the new ones when I sent mine out. I think the best option would be to go to your local post office and ask if they will be able to exchange them for the new ones for you, if they are not able to then I would suggest sending them out soon with your next international requets so you will have the greatest chance of the celebrity replying in time {up}

You know, I'm actually not sure if all post offices except exchanges so you'll want to ask your local post office if you can.. either way, the moment it's 2010, all IRCs that expire in 2009 are completely worthless - cannot be exchanged for postage or new IRCs.

Your IRC will no longer work after the expiry date printed on it.

You should be able to exchange them at your post office for the new ones.

somebody help me...my IRC says 'Must be exchanged by 31.12.2009. If I send off my letter now and the celeb whom I send to just have no time to reply within this year, they will only have time to reply until next year which is 2010. Does that mean my IRC doesn't work anymore in this situation? If so, what should I do?
