I sure hope my carrier doesn't do that! :shock: I honestly can't imagine someone willing to risk losing their job just for an autograph! I like autographs but not THAT much!

Yep! Also keeps the mail carrier people from knowing who the repsonse is from. i've heard cases of carriers seeing celebrity names and keeping it for themselves. Just remember to keep track of which address you used when it does come back so you can post that in your success topic. {up}

Also be sure to use your address as both the sending address and return address on the SASE. This way, if there is any problem, the SASE (and contents) will be "returned" to you.

Everything you said was correct {up}
When writing a request, write the celebs address on the front of the outside envelope and then include a SASE (Self Addressed Stamped Envelope) with your address and the postage cost on and in your SASE you can include card to stop the autograph bending and you can write 'Do not bend' on the front of you SASE too.

Hello there,

I have question about the envelopes and and SASE & what not...
For each request you make you need two envelopes, right?
You put one inside the other...the outside one having the celebrities address on it & the inside one having your address on it, correct?
& then of course on the inside one you'd want to write 'do not bend' & insert some sort of cardboard to prevent bending...
I know this is probably a really dumb question...but I just want to be sure!
