It depends on what you want back from him. If you want a pre-print, you can probably just send a letter with no SASE. But if you want an authentic autograph, you need to be sure and provide the item you want signed and a SASE with your letter. I just received a success from him last week (a really cool signed guitar pick-guard), so he will definitely sign for you if you send something to be signed. And even if he didn't require a SASE, including one is definitely the courteous thing to do considering he's taking the time to sign our stuff!

Does he require a SASE, or use one if you send it? I have seen envalopes people posted that looked all the same with a return address stamped from slash. I don't want to send a SASE if I don't have to, that just seems like a waste to me. Please help.
