Ahhh don't knock the West End! I've sent programmes/posters to several stage managers of my favourite West End shows and they have organized for them to be signed for me.

I think that if you are a fan of the show you would surely be happy enough to pay a couple of pounds for the programme or poster or whatever or even a production flyer which are free. Many theatres will send you flyers for free if you email them.
