I'd love one of those Simpsons booklets, they look fab. :D Pity it's difficult to obtain them when you're living outside of the US.

I was very excited when The Simpsons stamps came out. I work at a post office part time and always get the new stamps as soon as they are issued. From what I found out though, most people didn't like the stamps and we had to return quite a few that weren't used.

In my opinion they were great looking stamps. And, yes, you can use them as regular postage.

Thanks for clarification, turns out they used the template of another listing and just changed bits and therfore had some incorrect info for this stamp, I asked if they are peel and stick and they said yes so Im very pleased as Ive just got some stamps at a fantastic price :D Thanks for your help!

That sounds strange- they should be self-stick and peel right off. Here is a link from the USPS with the a picture of the stamp sheet so you can compare.

Thanks Michele, so do I just cut them off the sheet then since they are not hinged?

Simpsons stamps ???

by missmaile » Mon Jan 18, 2010 12:08 pm

Hi

Im in the UK and have been trying to find somewhere to get US stamps for my sase when I write to American celebs, so the other day I found someone in the UK on ebay who is selling 44cent stamps, but they are simpsons stamps which I guess are meant as collectors stamps, especially as they are not hinged.

I asked the person if they are valid for postage in America and if I could just cut a stamp off the sheet to use it and they replied saying yes, but I was wondering if anyone could confirm this for me? I do not want to spend money on stamps that I cant actually use.

Thanks
