Stamps depend on the size of what you are mailing. Since you are in the US and the other address is in the US, it is pretty simple:
A small envelope (normal letter size) up to and including a 6X9, only needs 1 stamp for up to an ounce. If it is heavy (several photos) you will need 0.61 in stamps.
A large envelope a 9X12 needs at least 0.88 in stamps. If it is heavier you need 1.05 in stamps.
If they weigh a lot, you will need to add more, but that is what I use for my SASEs.
