First-class mail from California to Texas takes 3 business days. A common rule of thumb is to have you letter arrive no earlier than 3-4 days before the celebrity is due to arrive, otherwise it will be marked RTS or thrown away... You should allow 5-7 business days for your letter to arrive on time within the window. {up}

Well, where are you? You want your letter to arrive about 3 days before the concert, so add that to how long it takes to send mail to your destination (i.e. if you're in a different country it will take longer). For US to US try 7 days, for international to US try 14.
