The size of the file matters, depending on how big of a photo you want to print out. If the file is not big enough the photo can come out grainy. For an 8x10 the ideal file size is 690x768 pixels or so I was once told. If you are going to print smaller photos (such as a 5x8 or 4x6), you can use a smaller sized file.

As for the size of the actual photo, that really doesn't matter. But for your SASE, use an envelope big enough to hold an 8x10 in case the celebrity decides they don't like a certain photo and sends out one of their own instead.

Hello, no the size doesn't really matter - as long as it fits in your SASE of course! It is best to print a photo that is quite large when yoy view it on the computer though, so that it prints out at a good quality!

Good luck!

About those sites, those are photo services, but wich images do you use then to let them be printed out?
Because you can't buy pictures of him on the site :D and i imagine that a wrong image will give a bad foto (quality?)

Greetings Kristof
Oh I see what you mean, sorry! Try this link - Michael Gambon - I searched his name on Google and set it to only come up with large images, and these should print out at high quality.

I'm sending to Michael soon too! Good luck. :)

Hello and welcome to the forum!

Michael is a really good replier. I would imagine he would have his own photo, but if you specifically wanted one from Harry Potter it would be best to send your own. :) You can order photos from a number of websites, I recommend Photobox or Aldi photos.

Good luck! Feel free to post any more questions you might have.

Phoebe :D
