IRC's would be more expensive, but more secure sending through the mail- you don't know who's going to open it. Either way the recipient would have to take the IRC's or cash to the post office. Best option would be to buy US (assuming you're mailing to the US) stamps from someone here and use those.

I want to send the vampire diaries cast a fanmail, but I don't know what to put inside. Looking back the cost of the letters that came back to me from america was $2.00 which I have in american money. But I don't know cause IRC's costs about $5.00 here, so it would be cheaper to send then 2 bucks.

so which ones would have a better success of getting their autographs?

i don't know because its been about 2 years since I sent my last fanmail
