There are a fairly large group of people who collect historical figures like MOH recipients and Fighter aces. These people get asked all the time for their autographs so I don't think it would disrespectful at all to send a letter that specifically asks for their autograph. I believe there is an autograph show in Texas that specifically brings in MOH recipients to sign autographs for the public, so I am sure that they receive requests ttm quite often.

I have been doing baseball players TTM for quite some time now, but i want to start branching out in my ttm endeavors. I love History, and i like the idea of getting autographs from Medal of Honor recipients. I feel it would be disrespectful, however, to just strait out ask for an autograph (even with the typical "Thank you for your service" message)in the letter.IFi just send a letter without directly asking for an autograph, does anyone know if i would get one? Or am i just being paranoid about asking in the first place?
