Why would you send 4x6 photos?

Send 8x10s. Very little cost and in the end much nicer to collect. 4x6 photos are too small. Even the graph will be small.

The photo on imageshack, being 410 x 250 pixels would be big enough for a 4x6 or maybe even a 5x7. The photo on the fan site is big enough for an 8x10, and maybe even bigger.

Here's what I do to take the guesswork out of it. Sign up for a service at Walmart or Walgreen's. Sam's Club is the cheapest that I know of, if you have a membership there. Upload your photos and add them to your cart (you can empty the cart later if you don't want to make a purchase). Then check each picture to see if they are big enough for the size you wish to print out.

Since I don't have Photoshop, there is something else I like to do to check to see how big a picture I can print out. I simply open the jpeg in Microsoft Paint and check the image attributes in inches. That gives me an idea of how big a picture I can print out.

It would absolutely be better to have them printed out for you rather than printing them out at home. The quality will be better and the photo and autograph will last much longer. It isn't all that expensive, especially if you have them mailed to the store for you. Then you don't pay postage.

If they are digital files why not have a local photo lab print them on photo paper? That way they will last a long time.
8x10 inches will be the easiest to mail out.

So two envelopes, one with my address and paid for inside a bigger one with the pictures and paid for. That address up there is all I need to put on the mailing outward envelope?

Going to hopefully mail out a request, and having not done this before, was looking for a little help.

I'm going to send out two photos, one stock, one edited up.

First is what I did with another stock, ill do something similar to the second link though. Request two signatures, one of the photoshopped stock and another plain, I'm sure that's no big deal, right?

More importantly, is what paper and what size. I'm literally about to print something out on printer paper but I find that would be too amateur and not last(?). Is there some tougher/thicker paper I can buy (Like poster board) that would fit through my printer but is still signable? Secondly can anybody give me a suitable size for a signature? A little smaller than a sheet of printer paper? What. Dimensions in pixels is fine or inches via ruler.
