Yes, the silver sharpie's work great (but they need to stored upside down or they will dry up) here's what my example looks like:

and here is what the paint pen looks like by comparison:

Well I actual have them printed through Kodak which is an online printing service... most are matte or glossy....
Would the silver sharpie be okay? Or should I try a paint marker( which I am a little nervous about) have you ever used one?

Are you printing out your own photos? (silver sharpies don't dry well and will rub off) or are they professionally printed photos (silver sharpies work well, but Sharpie also sells a silver paint pen that is even bolder)

If you print your own I would suggest using lighter images so a blue or black sharpie will be seen, and they are permanent.

Marker Question!

Hi! I had a question about markers.... I am going to be going to a meet and greet with some celebs and most of the photos I am bringing are dark...... I wanted to know what is the best silver marker to buy? I was thinking about a silver Sharpie but I have not heard good things about them? Is there a different company? I went to the store today and I honestly only found silver sharpie's ( Staples) is there another store that might have silver markers by a different company?
I also noticed when I wrote with the silver sharpie's on the photo, there was not a whole lot of ink and even on sorta dark photo's it did not look as good as I hoped, my photo's are dark but not super dark! I do have one that is black but the rest have the dark gray backounds
