Smaller post offices don't carry them unless a customer asks for them.

I was also told that new ones have recently been issued for expiration end of next year, not sure if that's right.

I just buy US stamps now, you lose so much value with IRC's

yeah, probably not. ill ask a friend in the city

think ive found some in a nearby city. does anyone know how much it would cost to send two a4 letters from australia to usa???
and how many coupons do i need for them to reply???

I'm in the UK :) I just checked http://www.upu.int/en/activities/intern ... -ircs.html, Australia definitely still sell them.

Technically, Nicole is correct. Some countries do remove themselves from the scheme. This page lists every country selling them http://www.upu.int/en/activities/intern ... -ircs.html
