How short do you suspect the postage might be? I think that here in the good 'ol US of A, once it goes out from your post office it should be okay. If it wasn't okay you would have gotten it back by now by way of an RTS -- insufficient postage. But don't quote me on that, it's just a gut feeling. I'll be going to the post office tomorrow to ship out an old modem to my internet provider, so while I'm there I'll ask for you.

Thank you for the help. I'm in the US if that helps. I think I should be fine.

Yes,packrat explained it better then I did.

I could be wrong, but here in australia, insufficiant postage means a rts now I think about it.

I don't know where you are located, but here in the States if a piece of mail gets delivered with a "Postage Due" notice that means the mailman paid for it out if his pocket and needs to be reimbursed. Otherwise he will just leave a notice at the destination and it would be up to the recipient to pay the balance before it is delivered, or they might have to go to the post office to pay the difference and pick up the mail.

Your best bet would be to stop by the post office itself and ask them what the policy is. I always like getting my information straight from the source if possible.

I don't think so. I think it goes to him as ''postage oweing''. Whether or not he will pay for fanmail, I do not know

I recently re-sent to Wayne Brady and I'm a bit worried that I didn't put enough stamps on the envelope going to him. If there's not enough postage on it, will it get sent back to me as an RTS?
