I think the production company is the general, more centralised address - the production office is the actual address used for the filming of that movie...at least, that's how I read it

I use to think so, but someone told me it's not the production company you need, it's the production office.

When trying to find an address to send to for a movie, you look for the production company, right?

If there are two production companies, does it matter which you choose?
Once you find the production company's address, is this the correct way to make sure it gets to the celeb:

John Smith
c/o 12 Production Company St.
(etc, etc.)
