Ok just weighed my large envelope with Photos inside it weighhed 85Kg which converts to justy under 3oz someone above said that would be around £2.82 is that correct?

A UK A5 envelope (Maximum UK Letter size) costs 98Cents to send back upto 1oz. This is what mine tend to weigh when sending back including just one to two photos.

It depends how much it weighs. I measured the photos I sent at one time and one 8X10 weighs about an ounce. Not sure what more weighs, but you probably can assume an ounce for each photo

Two ounces is 2.08

Three ounces 2.82

1.24 is the cost for a 1 ounce 8X10 size envelope.

4 ounces will be 3.76!

I just been told a 70oz letter costs $1.24 my letter with photos weigh around 4oz so surely if i put 3 x 44c stamps on it be ok??

A 8X10 should be 2.08 in stamps. As long as you have enough stamps to cover the cost, they don't care what denomination the stamps are.
