I had the same problem with the venue (I did not know which one I should choose), 'cause I'm going to send a letter to my favourite band, Apocalyptica.
I used your advice, I sent an e-mail to all the places where they'll play and, so far, I've received one positive answer.

Write something like this...

Dear _________,

I am wondering if you will be forwarding fan mail to Kelly Clarkson on *State the date she is there* and if so, do you have a special address to send to or is your address the valid one,

Kelly Clarkson is doing a tour over in the Uk and I am going to send a letter via venue and wondered which uk venues are the best to send things like that off to.
