Hi LewisFoskett,

I'm guessing from what you wrote in your post that you live in the UK? :)

It sounds like you did everything right, from what you wrote. :) I'm guessing, from the size of the envelope you described (a C5 or half the size of an A4 page envelope) that you included a 6x8 photograph? If you just sent a letter, the SASE and photo then I'm sure, given the size of the envelope and small weight of your letter, that the amount of postage you included on your SASE was just fine. :) Also, quite often celebrities can add additional postage to your SASE if, for example, you haven't included enough or postage prices go up.

It's great that you want to make a go of this fun hobby but it does require a lot of patience.. :) Have faith and I'm sure you'll get some responses, though they do take a while sometimes.

If you have any more questions, please feel free to ask or PM me. :)

Hi All,

I am a little concerend,
I am new to autograph collecting and really want
to make a go of it, so i wrote out 10 letters too ten
of the sarah jane adventures and doctor who cast. I included a letter,
A picture and a sase, on the sase i put 1 2nd class stamp.
Is this alright to do? The envalope was half the size of A4 paper but fit through all
of the checks at Post office. Is 1 stamp good enough? Or was that a complete
Waste of time and money?
