The "rule of thumb" in this hobby is to never send something you can't afford to lose. I would think that would definitely be an item you won't want to lose if it doesn't get returned to you.

Would it be ok if I send a small (210g) video camera to a celebrity with abit of cash and a request for a video greeting?
