Not really. All mail going overseas is sent by airmail. While it is not "free," it is now the standard way of mailing and the price of airmail is included in the First Class mailing cost. In the past, some mail went overseas by ship, but not any more.
Here's the link to the USPS First Class International postage rates. You can weigh out your package and after you convert grams to ounces you can look it up in the tables to see how much postage you need for your SASE. The UK is in Country Price Group 3-5 in the charts.
