It really depends from club to club, from player to player.

Take Alan Shearer - write to him at either his agent (SFX) or his club (Newcastle United) and you will get a reply quickly with either, as both have a presigned stock awaiting send out.

Other players wont have a presigned collection of photo with their agent which means sending to their club might be the best way to reach them quickly. Atleast at the club you can be sure the player will be there several times a week. It does no harm to phone or email the club office of the player you want ahead of writing, to check if they will pass the letter on for you.

I've got a question, is it better to send a football players fan mail to the football club he plays at or to his agent?

I've had success from both but wondered what would be best because I plan on getting a few more autographs before the end of the season.
