A 6X9 (inches) envelope is still considered a normal sized envelope. As long as it is under an ounce you will only need 0.98 in stamps to the UK. That is two forever stamps and a 0.10 stamp or 3 forever stamps.

Good luck! {up}

Hi oshgal,

If you check out the International Postage Prices Thread you'll see that to send larger envelopes to the UK from the USA costs:

$1.24 10g (.35 oz)
$1.24 20g (.70 oz)
$2.08 40g (1.40 oz)
$2.92 60g (2.10 oz)
etc..

If I were you, I would check at your local post office to see how much your letter weighs so you'll know how many stamps to use.. {up} So your envelope is 9 x 6 or a bit bigger than half an A4 page? I'd probably put about $2.04 on it to be safe but you can always check at your local post office. {up}
