Personally, I take my digital media (e.g. CD, USB key, memory sticks and various cards from your camera) into a store which has photo kiosks and upload my photos there. I find it more convenient to do it this way rather than uploading photos via the internet.
I like to have my photos printed at Harvey Norman (
http://www.harveynorman.com.au) here in Australia for a number of reasons. Prices are generally cheaper than other stores (e.g. a 8x10 printed in store is only $2, whereas by uploading online it's a bit more,) and after uploading your photos, you generally only need to wait about 5-15 minutes or so (maybe a bit longer, but it depends on how busy it is.)
